La Galigo has earned its reputation as one of Indonesia's premier liveaboard options for diving enthusiasts. It specializes in unforgettable journeys to renowned dive destinations like Komodo and Raja Ampat. Indonesia boasts the highest marine biodiversity on Earth and is renowned for being part of 'The Coral Triangle.'

The genesis of La Galigo dates back to the early 2000s, when two passionate divers yearned to explore Indonesia's pristine coral reefs. However, they encountered a challenge: existing scuba diving opportunities were frequently beyond their budget. This spurred the inception of the La Galigo concept.

La Galigo, a magnificent dive Liveaboard, was acquired in the stunning setting of Bali. This purpose-built vessel boasts the iconic 'Phinisi' style, meticulously handcrafted by the skilled Bugis artisans hailing from Southern Sulawesi. Our pride rests in our exceptional Indonesian crew, who collectively bring forth years of experience sailing and diving across the vast expanse of Indonesia's 18,000+ enchanting islands. Liveaboard diving is an immensely popular way to delve into Indonesia's underwater wonders, and La Galigo stands as the ideal vessel for such aquatic adventures.

Our dive excursions primarily encompass the breathtaking locales of Raja Ampat and Komodo, although we extend the opportunity to explore underwater wonders in Wakatobi, Banda, Ambon, Maumere, Alor, and beyond.

While our primary focus is scuba diving, we are more than willing to create tailor-made charters upon request. La Galigo comfortably accommodates a maximum of 14 guests, offering seven cabins thoughtfully distributed across two decks, each designed with utmost comfort in mind.

For your convenience, all our Master and Deluxe cabins feature the choice of double or twin share beds, along with amenities like air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms equipped with invigorating hot water showers.

An administration fee will be applied to facilitate this transfer.

Flexible rescheduling is applicable to any direct bookings made prior to September 2023 and exclusively pertains to FIT (Free Independent Traveler) bookings. To validate a reschedule, it must be requested 61 days or more before the initial trip date. No reschedules are allowed 60 days or less before the intended trip departure date. Each trip can be rescheduled once, and any subsequent rescheduling will result in the forfeiture of the trip without a refund. An administration fee of US$50 per person is applicable to all reschedules.

If a passenger cannot travel on the originally reserved voyage but wishes to transfer the reservation to another person with a change in the trip's schedule to a later date, La Galigo must be notified as soon as possible, with a minimum of 61 days' notice before the initially scheduled date. This notification should include the reason for the change and all required information about the replacement passenger. An administration fee will be applied for this adjustment.

It's essential that the replacement passenger adheres to all conditions of the contract, and La Galigo cannot be held responsible for any expenses or changes outside of the cruise, such as hotels and flights. A new contract will be established with the replacement customer as promptly as possible. All terms and conditions of the contract, including passport validity, dive certification (unless a non-diver), and a medical certificate, must be observed. All required documents need to be signed, and the remaining balance of the cruise must be settled.
